And just like that 2020 is behind us. Hello 2021! I find myself sitting quietly, reflecting on what was good about last year. I firmly believe that during awful and gut wrenching times in our lives that God is still working for our good. Even when things are hard, good things are happening parallel to the tough stuff. When I miscarried in 2002, I remember a specific moment in which I sat on my couch staring out a window. I found myself in awe of the trees that were moving with the wind, there was still life outside of me even though it was not within me. I was caught in two moments... one of life and one of death, and God was overseeing both. The feeling I had is as beautiful and sad today as it was then. I was in the midst of hard, and God was working for good. I view 2020 with similar sentiment - sad but beautiful. I am not, however, going to write about the sad stuff - we all had moments - some worse than others - but we made it to this day! A new day the Lord has mad
